EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) and SARS-Cov-2

I am very pleasant to hear this news, and it suppots my confidence in antivuiral effect of green tea. The just-published study on Research screened the computational (using a genetic algorithm) of the 18 most likely candidates of phytochemicals that would bind to the SARS-Cov-2 protein most effectively. It is a study of what is most likely to be molecularly bound to the proteins of various parts of the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (that is, several types such as infectious protrusions and envelopes). Once the virus has been completely covered by these phytochemicals, virus cannot infect to human cells. The result is that EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) contained in green tea was the best performance to all proteins of SARS-CoV-2. It also compares with remudicivir and chloroquine. Remujicivir is a drug for Ebola fever and chloroquine is a drug for malaria. But the result of these medicins were relatively poor performance.
